| It is possible to organize diving trips to banco de Sao Valente, uma baixa praticamente inexplorada away from the coast between the islands of Boavista and Maio. These excursions are suitable for very experienced divers only. For the safety of all the divers, our centre is equiped with an emergency mobile oxygen kit which is carried on the boat and a fixed oxygen kit in the diving centre. |

Joao Guedes was born in 19/04/62 and has always lived near the coast where he developed important skills for water sports (reached a competitive level in some of them). His first diving course was carried in 1982 by CMAS p1 and since then he made an important progress in his diving career. He was qualified a professional instructor in 1998 by the recognized PADI organization. After working in inumerous schools and diving centres for several years, Joao Guedes decided to move to Cape Verde and formed the Dunas de Sal Diving Centre. He is actually a certificated PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainner, EFR First Aid Instructor and he specializes in deep diving, night diving, rescue diving, underwater navigation and dive in shipwrecks.
